It is with bittersweet feelings that we share with you some exciting news about our company. Some of you may have heard that we have an opportunity to grow our business by adding a location in Hanover at The Markets of Hanover. We are currently in the process of moving forward with that effort as the buildout of the new pub and a larger brewery space are both well underway. There is a tradeoff, though, and that is that we will be closing our Red Lion location effective at the close of business this Sunday, July 26.
When we informed our Red Lion landlord of the plan to move our production to Hanover, we attempted to negotiate a lease that reflected the change in the space we needed in Red Lion. The decision was made by the landlord to not negotiate with us and that the lease would be ending July 31.
We’re looking at this as an opportunity to re-start our business! Therefore, we will be changing our name to Leo Brewing Co. We will post links to our new web site as soon as that is available so that you can stay updated on our progress. We will be serving the same great beers that we have in Red Lion with Conversion and Station 68 leading the way!
We hope you are as excited for us as we are for the chance to grow our business. We also commit to you that we want to re-emerge on the local scene as soon as possible. For now, please join us for this last week of good times and we very much hope that you make the trip to Hanover when we open.
Thank you all for your wonderful support. We VERY MUCH appreciated your patronage and friendship!
